Envoy — Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-07-10 · Envoy is a product of Stoned Pony Media Creations (SPMC).

The short version

Envoy works without an account — your learning data stays on your device. If you create an account, we store the minimum needed to back up and sync your progress. We don't sell data, we don't run third-party ad trackers, and you can delete your account and every byte of your data yourself, in-app, at any time.

What we collect

Without an account: nothing leaves your device. Progress, review schedules, and settings live in your browser's local storage.

With an account: your email address (for login and password reset), an optional display name, and your learning progress — study time per language, lesson completions, spaced-repetition schedule, and daily-goal setting. Authentication and storage are provided by Supabase; data is stored in access-controlled tables that only your authenticated account can read.

Microphone: the Speak feature uses your device's speech recognition to check pronunciation. Audio is processed by your device/browser's speech service; Envoy stores only the resulting text score, never recordings.

What we don't do

No selling or renting of personal data. No third-party advertising SDKs. No tracking across other apps or sites. No collection of contacts, location, photos, or background audio.

Deleting your data

In the app: Progress → ⚙︎ → Delete account. Type the confirmation and both your learning data and your login are permanently deleted from our servers. Local device data is cleared at the same time. This is immediate and irreversible.

Children

Envoy is intended for users 13 and older.
